We needed a restful time after a very stressful business visit and it was just the treat we needed. Lovely, warm spacious room with a comfortable bed. Great welcome from the team and great meal. The puddings in particular were absolutely delicious, (warm chocolate brownie and gingerbread cheesecake). Breakfast had an excellent choice.

Lovely country pub, really gorgeous interior with log burners each end of the bar, burning brightly & warmly with flickering flames. As it is nearing Christmas it was tastefully decorated with little white fairy lights etc, it gave the pub a wonderful atmosphere. Excellent friendly attentive staff, very friendly & quick table service, even in the bar. Food very good, traditional pub food, really great. Thank you, we'll be back.

Friendly greeting and a nice Christmas feel to the room.Started with smoked trout, a lovely delicate smoked flavour Then we had beef flank and gammon and egg. Had the special 6x which was unremarkable but Wadsworth beer is not my favorite so as expected(a guest beer would be nice) A tasty good value lunch with cheerful service and atmosphere.

As well as the beautiful building and location, was cosy inside with a fireplace and fantastic food! A great range of choices and served to excellent quality. Good car park space and a sofa to also chill on if desired. An excellent spot for a nice day in the country.

My wife and l stopped at the Colesbourne Inn by chance, and what a lovely experience it was. I was greeted by a very nice young man who provided me with a menu to take to the car to look at. The same waiter showed us to a table in a bay window which had a nice view over the countryside and served us during the meal. My wife and l both chose haddock. The fish was beautifully cooked in a crisp batter which was not greasy and the chips were perfect, the food was nicely presented on the plate. We had one chocolate brownie between us which again was excellent, it was accompanied by a very good vanilla ice cream. The food and service were excellent, thank you. Recommended.

Lovely , relaxed dining experience with very attentive waiting by Ryan and a warm welcome from Ellie at the bar. The food was beautifully presented, with delicious flavours coming through with every mouthful. When I asked if there were any dairy free desserts, Tracy the amazing chef , offered to “whip me up something “. The result was a wonderful cheesecake, with a summer fruit compote - such lovely personal service. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again !!
